How to secure your dropbox account to avoid spammers and Hackers

Nowadays, hacking and spamming have become major issues. Everyday, around thousands of websites, mail and other accounts are hacked. this creates a lot of inconveniences to the users and the viewers of those websites, webpages. Lots of spams and other other unethical actions are also done from those hacked accounts/webpages.

Thus, here I am here to discuss about how to avoid such hacks. In this post I will discussing about how to avoid it in dropbox and how to secure your dropbox because all your personal also matters a lot to you. If someone get access to your dropbox account then all your personal data can be used in any form or can be distributed to outside which you you don't want to share with.

Here are some security measure I am gonna discuss with to avoid such things.

Step 1: Dropbox to avoid such hacking and want to secure your dropbox account it have provide a two way enabled security. To enable a two way security, startuphere. You will be display a screen what you want to do with your account.

Once you enable this service you are prompted the method from which you can verify your mobile.

I have selected mobile method to secure my dropbox. After this give your code which is received by you to secure your dropbox.

Note: Regarding the Use a Mobile app method. It will ask you to scan a particular QR code or to enter a some code into your mobile to generate a 6 digit code. You can find the more information on apps here.

Step 2: You can also see who use your dropbox account or from where it is been used. Dropbox not provide information from which ip location it is used but you can see at what time and from which system it is used. If you haven't added something than you will get to something problem with your account and thus you need to secure your dropbox account.

You also have an option to unlink the unknown computer. Just see below the same page you looking.

Why am I writing this?

Hello guys today my topic will be looking weird but it is not. Today I am gonna tell you about magic of Dropbox which i have left covered in previous topics.Today I will be telling you a very interesting part of Dropbox. Dropbox has many uses out of which I am gonna discuss it now.

Introduction

Dropbox is not merely a simple tool to play with. It has its broader way of it's use. Today in this post I will tell you how to host your website for free on Dropbox because it is a free website hosting and it will be helpful for those who are fed up of over charging of hosting charges.It will help you to make your own website for free.
                         By following below steps you will be easily host your website on Dropbox. Since there are two of doing it out of which one is simple and other one is hard.So here I will be discussing the simplest one. I you want to know how to host your blog on Dropbox than stay connected.

Step 1: If you haven't installed the Dropbox yet than install it by following steps given here.

Step 2: Go to website pancake.io and create your account and Let allow pancake to allow to use Dropbox.

Step 3: Once you get connected automatically your Dropbox will prompt to allow permission to the pancake api.

Once allowed it will automatically generate a folder with name apps. Under apps you will find a pancake folder.

Also there is one more issue you should deal with that is the daily file transfer capacity. According to Dropbox there not more than of 20 GB(for free users) of data transfer if it exceeds than your account will be suspended automatically. But I think having a max of 10 mb site will not let you cross your avg usage.

Another One is Dropages.com. It is little bit open means you cant expect fuul privacy. Here your folder is shared by the company which have full rights to change,edit and look into your files. It can also have your personal information and can even use for illegal purposes.

According to my choice pancake.io is a better option. Because all your informance is safe with you and your data is with you. Nobody can actually edit it untill you give them permission to do so.

Know how to install Dropbox to your computer and get 2.5 GB of free cloud storage..!!

Introduction

Dropbox is very easy to install as it does not require any geeky mind to install it. It also doesn't require any hi tech pre-requisite.By following below steps you will be able to easily install it on you computer.

Step 1: Go to this link here and create your account. LINK. It will ask for your name and a valid email id to create a valid account. It will look like this.

Step 2: Once you create your account you will be redirected to your account and automatically dropbox is downloaded automatically.You just don't have to do any thing just click that software when downloaded and it will ask for some final formalities to be filled after that your are completed uptill than be patient.

Step 3: Click on the Dropbox when it is finish downloading you will be prompted to run setup.

Step 8: Select your plan. Select 2 gb plan initially.Don't go for biigger plans because it cost you many.Make sure that you have created the account which you have given above else you will miss the best part which i m gonna tell you at the last.

Step 9: Now a new screen will be prompted to select how you want to install it. Leave it as typical/ Go for advanced if you think you are a computer geek.

Step 10:Now select the folder in which you want to make your dropbox to reside. Here i have selected favorite as my folder where my dropbox will reside because it will be always on top when you open your window explorer.

Step 11:Select your icon to be showed on your folder as it is an special folder for you and your system.

Now you have to done anything. Now you are almost done. Following images will tell you how to make use of Dropbox.

 Now finally you have done.Now you have to press Finish to end this tedious job.Once you hit enter you will have opened your dropbox folder.
